Dave Matthews Band has been central to my summers since the night of my first show was also the night that I first kissed my future wife on a hot July 2005 night. Since that time this band has been a part of our summers, dates, and engagement. In 2006 we saw them twice at SPAC, in 2007 we saw them 3 times(1 at SPAC, 1 in Charlotte and 1 in Raleigh), in 2008 we saw them 3 times(1 in Raleigh, 1 in Charlotte, and 1 in VA Beach) and 2009 we went crazy seeing them 7 times (2 in Charlottesville, VA, 2 at SPAC, 1 in Raleigh, 1 in Charlotte, and front row center at Bethel Woods). This year we plan to see them alot as well but we work real jobs now and do not have that kind of time. We decided to take a road trip up to Hershey Park and Pittsburgh for the July 9-10th weekend.

This was a very solid show with the highlight for me being Recently->Cornbread->Recently. Due to the heat the shows beginning was very slow and mellow. Other highlights were defintely Lying in the hands of God which is my favorite off of the new album. Also enjoyed Warehouse with the old passion intro and Stay was pretty sick. Been to better shows at better venues but it was alot of fun and a new experience.
